Introduction

Welcome to Qubiloo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website qubiloo.com and related services (collectively, the "Platform") operated by Qubiloo. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are a parent or guardian registering an account for a child, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the child, and you are responsible for the child's use of the Platform.

Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, signing in (including via "Sign in with Google" or other third-party providers), browsing our website, or using any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

Services we provide

Qubiloo provides an online education platform aimed at teaching children coding and related skills in a safe, age-appropriate environment. The following describes the main services offered:

  • Online coding courses and lessons: Access to structured courses and interactive lessons designed for children (typically ages 7–14). Content may include programming basics, logic, and project-based learning, delivered at the user's own pace.

  • User accounts: Registration and account management so that learners and parents can sign in, save progress, and manage profiles. This may include sign-in via email/password or third-party providers such as Google, where we receive only the information necessary to create and maintain your account (e.g. name, email, profile picture) in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • Parent dashboard and progress tracking: For parents and guardians, we may provide a dashboard to view a child's enrollment, progress, time spent on the platform, and related learning metrics, to support oversight and engagement.

  • Certificates and achievements: Upon completion of eligible courses or milestones, we may issue digital certificates or similar recognition. Verification of certificates may be offered through our platform (e.g. via a public verification page or code).

  • Website content and support: Access to informational pages (e.g. how it works, about us, blog), help resources, and customer support channels (e.g. email, contact forms) to answer questions and resolve issues related to the Platform.

We may add, change, or discontinue specific features or services over time. We will use reasonable efforts to inform you of material changes that affect your use of the Platform, where required by law or where we deem it appropriate.

Account terms and eligibility

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Accounts are intended for use by the registered user (or, in the case of a minor, by the child under the parent's or guardian's supervision). You must be at least 18 years old to create an account that oversees a minor, or you must have the consent of a parent or guardian. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are misused or fraudulent.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful, educational purposes and in a manner that does not harm, harass, or offend others. You must not: attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts; upload malicious code or content; scrape or automate access in a way that violates our systems or policies; use the Platform for commercial resale or redistribution of our content without permission; or use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws or the rights of third parties. Intellectual property and content

The Platform and its content (including but not limited to courses, lessons, text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by Qubiloo or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform and its content for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

Disclaimers

The Platform and all content and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, that the Platform will meet your specific requirements, or that results from using our courses will achieve any particular outcome. Educational outcomes depend on many factors; we strive to provide quality content but do not warrant particular results.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Qubiloo and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or these Terms. Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Platform or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars (100 USD), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Effective Date" at the top. For material changes, we may also notify you by email or through a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Platform.
